Email – How to achieve Inbox Zero

Do you have a system for handling email or is your Inbox bullying you?

Check quickly. If there are 5,678,902 (or any other big number of) unread emails in your Inbox right now, it might be a sign that you don’t have the necessary control over this communication tool. If your Inbox still harbours emails received more than 2 weeks ago, it’s a dead give-away.

Before you start banging your mouse against the wall in frustration, take a deep breath. Relax. You’re not alone. In fact, I had the very same problem.

It got so bad that my Gmail account reached more than 9,000 unread emails. Most of those emails were complete and utter nonsense like the persecuted, deposed Nigerian prince looking for my bank account number to safely deposit his huge family fortune while he was escaping over the border. He told me I was standing to earn a 10% “handling fee” for my trouble…

I digress…

You need a super-simple system to handle your email

I had to devise a simple, yet efficient way to stay on top of my Inbox. With a little help from the Internet, I started following a simple 4-step strategy, which is aimed at clearing all emails on a daily basis.

To discover how this system works and which tools I use, check out the short video below!
